slow down, slow down
said the river to the boat
but riding on the waves
intoxicated with the wind
carrying the aroma of anabandoned spirit
arrogant sails
and mast still, intact
it did not listen
till the whirlpool of silences
swallowed the sounds
sage warning
and a gaze abounds
deep,
do you need to ask
the wherebouts of the boat!
Drunk with hope immortality sought
Worthy work of time profound
In tide high; with a sigh
Enjoined the thrush of mountain cold,
The ship, steering oars through exotic shores,
Hailing high
O Captain! My Captain!
Pity O! cried the soul, guide
On a quest with world,
And self enthralled on an island of Lotus Eaters!
when the sea was stable
i took off with the ship
but then came a storm
ship lost its functions and form
i am
now
dissolved
you can ask if u wish
why should u stay afloat
but let me tell
you
it is not easy to be submerged
and not complain,
why should deluge leave you dry and not
urge one to dissolve
