you know, i am getting an award
of the best gardener tonight
I mean, the planted gardens,
But then who has seen the garden
in my backyard
full of plants I did not sow
full of thorny bushes that I did not remove
with some insects that I did not kill
and the birds that came even when
I forgot to feed them
Will I be even called a gardener if
they reckoned the gardens in backyard
I have to live with this failure
All my life
But then is not life an unplanted garden too
And have I done too badly there
