no matter what anger

or shame hinder your resolve

be ready to sacrifice

whatever you cherish

for the depth of a matter

can not be done away with
by any occasional flood or drought

of feelings or blessings

why should time be so brute

or myopic

either way, it only makes the cup you bake in the oven

of love

more brittle

we have to patiently

pray

focus on the long term goals

of moulding clay to make cups

in which some day

when we have to drink poison

even if our hands waver

and it falls down

it does not break

poison remains intact

and our responsibility will not be denied

its not easy to build castles in air

but i tried

my dreams of making

heroes of the ordinary mortals

have been broken today

but will i give up

will stop trying

does a creeper growing on an aged tree

stop growing
when the roots start drying

it saps the last drop of energy

it can

i will not spare the tree of life

and draw the last ounce of energy i can

i have to

for the blessings must continue

when i saw your image

in the cup of tea

i decided that i will not take tea any more

i was worried

if the images of an oscillating rainbow

will muddle my journey through the forest

soon

i have broken the cup, removed the spoon

will now erase the marks

of tea stains

when will you walk alone

without the stilts of those walking along
without caring about the onlookers

withot worrying about the way steps fall

without having to turn and tumble,

just walk alone

i am not going to be around  for too long

m back to the silly silent road
that remains empty  even in the middle of the day
whole town avoids this road
rumour has been very effective
those who wish to meet some one in particular
do not go by this road
and those who have lost the loved one
do not leave this road
then why is this road is so empty

will these challenges consume you

will these ambitions for larger social good that

you claim drive you

will  exhaust you one day

will roots remain alive

when tree will shed all its leaves

when all creepers, insects and birds  which

live on you bid you good bye

will you still be able to laugh

when your branches are cut

when those who water your roots are busy elsewhere

when those you care for

are not able to reciprocate

when your prayers for her well being is not answered the way you want

will u still pray

she does not hope

she will get well ever

but you hope

you pray

you long for that

every day

every breath

will you still be able to beathe

like the way you do,

effusing

hope

energy

love and

longing for

always a better tomorrow

why ask

where will these stairs take me

why do i ask this to myself

but then are stairs always meant to be climbed

why not let this one  remain there, on your arms

in your courtyard

why not stairs be a silent spectators of jouneys abandoned

spring will sustain, do not wail over autumn

let the leaves be shed

let the road be dry, let the dust get into your eyes

wash your face in the little pond on the side

let the fishes laugh at you

let the breeze trouble you

by stirring all the memories

you had lost track of

just walk on,

walk on

the steps ahead will be stronger

the climb less steeper
friends more kind

you will be able to take it, just try

and take it

in your stride
